Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that “Indian Communists do not respect India’s history, culture or spirituality,” while condemning the “most shameful” behavior of Pinaryi Vijayan’s Communist LDF government on the Sabrimala Temple issue.
Predictably, the CPI (M) has gone ballistic against the comment on its twitter handle but I ask what’s there to argue about really?
Let’s take India’s pre-independence history. Didn’t communists in Bengal assembly support The Partition? (It’s an irony though that communists, like Leftist Amartya Sen had to flee East Pakistan to India whose unity they had betrayed). Wasn’t CPI (Communist Party of India) officially against the Quit India movement?
Or the annals of India after Independence. Didn’t the CPI chief B.T. Randive termed India’s freedom as fake (“yeh azadi jhooti hai”) and called for an armed revolution in 1948? Who do you think a section of Communists supported in the 1962 Indo-China War? (E.M.S. Namboodiripad among others argued in favour of China and dubbed India as the aggressor). Isn’t the pro-Chinese faction of those days is the Communist Party of India (Marxist) today? Didn’t the CPI (M) parrot the line of its masters in China in opposing the historic Indo-US nuclear deal in 2007?
And what to say of the “Eminent Historians” from the stable of Communism who have butchered the Indian history in India’s text books and academia. For instance, are you told the story of Battle of Talikota of 1565 when Vijaynagar Empire which had two Muslims as its main generals who, at the last minute, betrayed the legendary Hindu kingdom and went to the other side? (It practically ended the golden era of Hindu renaissance).
And how do you think the story of destruction of Hindu temples by invading Muslims is told to you? Famous Indologist Dr. Koenraad Elst points out the instance that invading Muslims are blamed only for destroying 80 temples in India. Though one of these 80 entries read: Qutubuddin Aibak, the military general of Muhammad Ghouri, destroyed 1000 temples in Varanasi!!!
And how do you think dreaded Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb’s destruction of all the temples in Varanasi is explained away? That it was due to a Brahmiin conspiracy as one of Muslim princes had been abducted and hidden away in a temple? Any historical proof? My foot.
Can Indian communists deny that one of the main planks of their ideology is atheism? Isn’t it a fact that one of their leaders, Brinda Karat once led a savage attack against Baba Ramdev? What’s been their stance when the Kanchi Shankaracharya was sent to jail? Or on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who gets targeted often? If these men don’t matter to you then isn’t Modi justified in claiming that Indian Communists do not respect India’s history, culture or spirituality?
Would these communists ever confess that Stalin killed more people than Hitler did before or during the Second World War? Would they acknowledge the genocides of a Mao Zedong or a Pol Pot? Or is that genocide of millions don’t matter in this case while a stray lynching sees them paint the town in red? What was their stance when Salman Rushdie’s book “Satanic Verses” was banned in India?
So thorough is Communists hold on our textbooks and academics that anyone who holds a contrary opinion is never allowed to rise up the academic ladder. But all those who fall in line are conferred with position and prestige.
There is a lot more which could be said about Communists and Naxalites, including the Urban Naxals, but this must wait—some other day, some other time.

Enough of this “Kerala model of growth” which economist Amartya Sen has put his dubious stamp upon and with which Leftists louts thump their chests on an hourly basis.
No sir, Kerala doesn’t have the highest literacy rate in the country— Tripura and Mizoram are ahead–and if jobs is the end goal of all literacy, Kerala sucks: It has three times the national average of unemployment rate. Thousands of MBBS graduates are without jobs, according to Kerala Medical Post Graduates Association. Kerala’s graduates are so unemployable that the state is 10th in the rankings of 16 states in the IT services sector.
Apologists please also save this “model healthcare system” lollipop in your termite-infested drawers. Those attending your health are unlikely to have cleared the nursing or paramedical courses. The pass percentage in 90 colleges is as low as 5% in pharma and 6% in physiotherapy.
Oh yes, The God’s Own Country! (Scamster Leftists are atheists on paper but have no problem in promoting God as their brand ambassador). Kerala’s 44 rivers are facing existential crisis due to continuous sand extractions. Munnar, one of its showpiece, suffers from lack of accommodation, public facilities, pollution and poor hygiene as conceded by no less than Kerala Tourism.
To be a woman in Kerala is almost a curse. As many as 47.4 of state’s women have no jobs. As a woman, being outside of home after 6 p.m isn’t approved by an average Malayali male. Any young couple who roams around in terrible jammed streets of Kerala would have his or her own story to tell. We are not even coming to “Love-Jihad.”
The so-called high literacy still doesn’t stop people from falling prey to the “quick-fixers” selling his wares on the street. If the high-literacy was real, authentic research wouldn’t have shown that (a) 35% can’t identify alphabets; (b) 85% of Class VII have no idea of basic science; (c) 73% same in mathematics.
The study, conducted among 4,800 students of Class IV and VII, showed that as many as 19% students in Thiruvananthapuram scored zero in geometry! Most of this high-literacy tag doesn’t go beyond secondary schools as there is a dramatic fall in higher education.
And to think that 80 per cent of the education budget is spent on schools. Mind you, this is no ordinary sum—it’s 37% of the state’s total annual budget. In case you are wondering where all the money goes, there is a clue: the glut of teachers: almost a teacher on every two students!
Ah economy! Kerala has no funds left in the state treasury for capital expenditure, Kerala’s governor P. Sathasivam had said last year. The state has about Rs 10,000 crore immediate liabilities to meet in the short term, said the White Paper, as presented by Kerala finance minister Thomas Issac last year.
Indeed, Kerala’s Debt-GDP ratio is almost 29 percent! (Wondering how Communists fared in Bengal? It was 35.5% of GDP when Mamata Banerjee assumed office last year). But then how do you expect industries to grow in a state where bandhs and strikes happen every single day!
We are not getting down the financial scams road even though the 2013 Solar Panel Scam is wanting itself to be heard at some corner of my brain. Kerala has been ruled since 1970s either by Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) or Left Democratic Front (LDF) of communists—one Left the other Extreme Left. Congress is seen effectively controlled by the Christian community; while LDF leans towards Muslims and other minorities. Almost all top jobs in the state, Hindus allege, are controlled by minorities.
The dangerous policy of communalization is best reflected in Malappuram which is said to be a hotbed of Islamist terror and where law and order is practically absent. The ecosystem of NGOs, churches, madrasas and the Leftists in power feed each other.
Political violence against RSS and BJP is now unprecedented in Kerala. The presence of BJP chief Amit Shah is making the present dispensation in Kerala nervous. More so since BJP’s growing clout—they obtained 15 percent of vote share in last assembly elections—is unmistakable.
So while we wait for the political drama to unfold, let’s throw all the good news on Kerala to dustbins and remind ourselves once again how presstitutes never bring such facts to our attention and why political violence in Kerala goes unreported by Lutyens’ Media.
Let’s second guess the agenda of our English mainstream newspapers in next few weeks/months. My vote is: they would find a Kanhaiya of homosexual community and paint the town in LGBT colours. Amartya Sen and Vikram Seth would once again by on front pages and news channels. The human rights activists, the NGOs, some Foundation, Barack Obama or Melinda Gates, the New York Times, would worry about India’s “intolerance” and “freedom of speech.”
Yes, I know you would doubt it could happen. Despite 2.5 million registered homosexuals—there are millions more unaccounted for—homosexuality is a criminal activity in India, punishable under law. But a civil movement for this “repressed” section could never be outlawed. After all, some people in this country could get away with anti-India slogans and still not be found seditious.
Let’s first deal with the historical aspect of homosexuality in India before you and I raise the flag (pun intended). Hinduism is rather ambivalent on it (sigh! you lose a point here, the “tolerant” brigade). Rigveda says Vikriti Evam Prakriti (implying what is unnatural is also natural). Manusmriti. Kama Sutra devote enough space on it.
This was till the 19th century arrived. The British Empire now was all over India and England frowned on homosexuality. As a result, when India got its Indian Penal Code in 1860, Lord Macaulay inserted section 377 which brought in the concept of “sexual offence against the order of nature.” And so it has remained.
It would interest our “liberal” intellectuals to know that homosexuality in West, which they quote as a divine word, was illegal till early 1970s. The American Psychiatric Association (APA) declassified homosexuality as a mental disorder for the first time in 1973. The World Health Organization gave it a clean chit in 1990.
It all began when gay activists led a virulent protest against an APA convention in San Francisco in 1970. It was no different next year, supported as homosexual lobby was by very powerful and rich segments of the society. In 1973, APA removed homosexuality from the list of mental illness—though it didn’t go as far as to declare it normal.
It’s important to remember that there wasn’t any scientific breakthrough which suddenly made the world realize that homosexuals are normal. The health bodies simply caved in to raging fuss outside their offices.
IT WAS A POLITICAL DECISION AND THERE WAS NO SCIENTIFIC BASIS FOR IT.
Indeed, till it got away, homosexuality came under Paraphilia group which included sexual activity that is considered unnatural in psychology and sexology. It included pedopholia, sadism, masochism, sexual fetishness, exhibitionism, voyeurism, necrophilia and nymphomania.
Let’s deal with the scientific aspect of homosexuality. Wikipedia says that same sex attractions, feelings and behaviour are normal and “positive variations of human sexuality.”
By that token, pedophilia and incest should also be seen as “positive variations of human sexuality.” But the world is against pedophilia. Yes, I know you would say it’s not between adults and possibly not consensual and children must be saved. But if “positive variations of human sexuality” is the scientific word, than you can’t be jailed for entertaining pedophilic thoughts.
Who decides whether it’s right or wrong? Is the right-or-wrong definition absolute or arbitrary? One could only follow the convention—and thus only religious position could be the arbitrator. I have spoken about Hinduism. Let’s see what Christianity says: Since the fall, man has lost his original true nature and that his current fallen nature is the cause of his suffering…and it must reclaim his or her original nature.”
What is Sin? The official definition is “Missing the target or failing to act according to one’s true potential.” In other words, transgression of religious and moral law, especially when deliberate.
Homosexuals like to say they were born that way. So could be the opinion of pedophiles. It’s not a choice but a condition. A society which aims to protect children from pedophiles also give away these children to proven homosexuals who are now a couple and could adopt them. This is the same society which considers it to be a felony to possess naked, voyeuristic photos of children on your computer—but it has no compunction in giving away young children to homosexual couples. Pathetic logic!
If this “liberal, tolerant brigade” in India is upset that I am advocating pedophile, let me quote from their own scripture, i.e from the West. Frederic Mitterand, former French minister and nephew of the late President of France, Francois Mitterand, wrote a book called “The Bad Life” in which he confesses using boys in Thai brothels. At the time of the release of the book, MItterand was hailed for his honesty. France, as we know, has many homosexual politicians.
Richard Dawkins, world’s most famous atheist, has defended mild pedophilia. He says it does not cause lasting harm. There are animal brothels in Germany where sex is allowed with animals as a matter of “lifestyle choice.”
My reason for bringing in pedeophile is to contrast it with the absurdity of logic on homosexuality. I am neither a homosexual nor a pedophile. Nor do I approve of them. I am happily married for over two decades with two adult daughters. I don’t mind homosexuals but I don’t like the campaign to accept and applaud them. As I don’t expect them to give me a standing ovation for my preferences. Each to his/her own. If I disagree, don’t term it homophobia.
Majority of us don’t feel homosexuality is normal or positive. Most don’t say it in open to avoid trouble. Meanwhile homosexuals are portrayed as some kind of persecuted prisoners of conscience by the corporate media.
I like gender differentiation. I am not one of those “liberals” who find it sexist when you address a woman as “lady.” I don’t like when I am told men are not supposed to look masculine and females feminine. Not when it’s fashionable to be sissy in appearance—say such as Barack Obama and John Kerry. Gender differences in men and women give life its’ spice.
You don’t like gender differentiation? Then you are welcome to hurt your eyes in darkness which doesn’t make any differentiation. Why then you have pairfigure skating or mixed doubles with men and women as partners? In a real world, to a real child, traditional father and mother provide the necessary emotional nurturing.
The fact is, there is a multi-billion dollar industry in West which caters to sexually dysfunctional people. It’s a tool in West’s kit of destruction: like you have “tolerance,” “human rights” and “freedom of speech.” Like other tools, it’s used to spread unrest in stable societies. There, the God has been declared dead and all opinions on right and wrong dismissed as cultural. Thus they can bend, adapt and repackage the ideological agenda of the day. So killing unborn babies by the millions is right. Giving up kids to the “same sex couple” is right. Homosexuality is right. Animal sex is right.
The issue is they want their moral standards of the day to be followed by other countries, such as India and Russia, who have different sensibility on the subject. This tool is very conveniently spread by their agents (read media, NGOs, Foundations) in sovereign nations. The intended effect is the same as the one of “intolerance” and “freedom of speech” in India.
So I expect our English newspapers to rake it up soon. Some homosexual persecution or death and the streets of our Capital will have organized marches and media coverage of up to one month or more—like it’s happened to Kanhaiya.
Even though this issue logically can’t be put in front of Modi government’s door—since it’s a matter of judicial action—you could be sure a way would be found to portray the present government as “intolerant.”
The search for Kanhaiya among homosexuals must have already begun.
Today, Times of India (March 5, 2016) has three stories on its front page:
Government says no to visit by US Panel: US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) has been denied Indian visas to “discuss and assess religious freedom.” (NewsBred had an insightful take on it at least four months backwhich you must read if India concerns you).
India takes US to WTO over visa: India has hauled US in the World Trade Organisation (WTO) over their controversial new visa rules.
India rules out joint naval patrol in South China Sea: India refuses to join US in joint patrolling in South China Sea (all you read on South China Sea is hogwash. Read this and you won’t need to read anything else on South China Sea ever).
INDIAN EXPRESS HAS NONE OF THESE STORIES. FROM ITS FRONT PAGE TO ITS LAST– FROM ITS MASTHEAD TO IMPRINT LINE.
May be Express, busy as it is with all its resources on Kanhaiya affair (just count on the stories in today’s editions—I gave up after 1-2 dozens), just couldn’t free its reporters on other India issues (but that’s ok, they didn’t have time and space to discuss Indian budget).
May be, Express thinks other India issues are not important. (Remember they didn’t have time for India’s win over Pakistan in cricket on its front page; instead writing a fictional “mahaul” story for which got an official rap).
May be, they genuinely missed the 3 stories since all international news agencies AP, AFP, Reuters blocked these stories too from reaching newspapers offices (I couldn’t find one in google search). Never mind if these same agencies cried themselves hoarse on India’s promised joint patrol with US in South China Sea.
The only Express story on US in today’s edition was on its business page, Pg 19: “Monsanto threatens to exit India.”
So the facts established: Issues that India take up with United States didn’t find space in Express. Issues that United States takes up with India (like Monsanto) is a screaming headline.
What is Monsanto? Well it’s been dubbed as the “most evil corporation on earth.” We won’t waste time here on Monsanto. Readers can take their own sweet time to find about it.
Is Express of today a one-off thing? Or has there been a pattern?
The pro-US role in Indian Express is increasingly getting established. It publishes US envoy Richard Verma, president Barack Obama, Moody’s, Ford Foundation (which had infiltrated Nehru government to the core) and Greenpeace etc on issues where these divine voices question India’s freedom of speech, tolerance etc. (Even though the world knows that US has quarter of world’s all prisoners; its horrific track record against blacks; it snooping and spying on its citizens; the Patriot Law etc probably qualifies it as a “deep state.” today).
I won’t get so far as to question how Express runs without advertisements on its pages. There must be godly-souls in this world who would do anything for “tolerance” and “freedom of speech” issues. Or for that matter the allegations of “foreign funds’ to Kejriwal’s AAP for which, it must be told to readers, got a clean chit from none other than the Modi government last year!!! (can’t help taking a potshot: Kejriwal talks of “freedom of speech” but let’s not forget what he did to Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan—it wasn’t the best case of “freedom of speech, was it?).
Just as the JNU issue was hotting up, Modi addressing farmers in Bargarh, Odisha had said that NGOs with foreign funds were “conspiring” to destabilize his government and defame him.
Let me connect all the dots: A resurgent India would never be “allowed” by the United States. They don’t allow sovereign nations to functions: they only allow vassal—such as Europe, Japan or Gulf kingdoms to exist. Look at what it does to China, Iran, Russia, North Korea and Venezuela. Or what they did to Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya and Syria and countless Latin American and African countries. You would be naïve to believe that imperialism and colonialism just disappeared after World War II. They only turned more sophisticated and scientific with modern technological tools.
Vajpayee broke the pattern with Nuclear explosion; Modi now is pursing a dollar-free BRICS agenda. The empire would strike back and strike back hard.
What are the tools of those seeking world hegemony? Corporate and bought media for one; NGOs and funded foundations for another; intellectuals such as Amartya Sen (who is married into the Rothschild family); film celebrities (you know whom); superbly controlled academic institutions etc.
These intellectuals, writers and elites conveniently forget that tens of millions of Asians were murdered in Tokyo and Osaka firebombing (I am not evening mentioning Hiroshima and Nagasaki), horrific liquidation of Korean civilians or killing of millions in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, East Timor and Philippines. Or what’s happening in Middle East where wars have been waged on lies of WMD and Benghazi or Syrian chemical use. So Indian elites, this is the future you have in mind for you and your children?
So a word from a neutral Indian citizen like me to the rest of the countrymen, more importantly to media: “Don’t support BJP or Congress or vice versa if that’s what you are convinced about. You support Kanhaiya–do it. You don’t want to support JNU–don’t do it. But don’t play into such destabilizing forces.
Remember there are forces who don’t want a strong, resurgent India. Those who are blocking Muslims in their own country; who won’t allow a Muslim women to wear “hijaab” but can allow cartoons against the Prophet while taking a legal action against those having anti-Semitic views–these are not the ideal countries that you think they are. Don’t be a tool in their hands.
All they want is a polarized India. Want to test it? I can even predict a headline you would see in paid media next week/month (Ok, watch this space for my prediction in next 48 hours—my wife tells me they won’t leave you alive. Who cares).
If you have interest and safety of your children in your heart, please don’t allow such polarization forces to gather wind. A polarized society would be an ideal breeding ground for ISIS/Al-Qaeda to find its recruiters and wreak havoc on our buses, trains, monuments etc. India would become a living hell. I can foresee such a scenario if you are not alert to this agenda of foreign forces/Indian media/NGOs/academic institutions.
There are people who are after the life of me, you and our children—and they are not Hindu or Muslim
